Tattoo artist Colin Day is from the Rochester, NY area, but moved away in 2001 to go to art school in Pittsburgh PA. for graphic design and illustration. After a few semesters at art school he decided graphic design was not for him. He got into tattooing in 2002 on the south side of Pittsburgh through a well established tattoo artist friend of his. over the next few years he tattooed on and off as he was traveling a lot at that time. in 2010 he stopped traveling and started to tattoo more and has done well over a thousand tattoos…by 2012 he had moved back to rochester and soon after was working at Rite Of Passage, Victor, NY.
